Funeral prayers offered for martyrs of Muzaffarabad Helicopter Crash, bodies sent to hometowns
Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of the fallen personnel and offered special prayers for the elevation of their ranks.


Muzaffarabad: Funeral prayers have been offered for the officers and soldiers martyred in the crash of a Pakistan Army Aviation Mi-17 helicopter during flight near Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to details, the funeral ceremony was attended by the Acting President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, the Corps Commander Rawalpindi, senior civil and military officials, and a large number of citizens.
On the occasion, a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a guard of honor to the martyrs. Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of the fallen personnel and offered special prayers for the elevation of their ranks.
The mortal remains of the martyrs have been dispatched to their native areas, where they will be laid to rest with full military honors.
