Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has granted a significant relaxation regarding business operating hours in Islamabad and across the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has exempted commercial centers nationwide from the previously prescribed closing hours until May 31.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, shops and commercial establishments throughout the country will remain exempt from fixed closing times until May 31.
The notification further states that all markets, departmental stores, and shopping malls may operate as usual throughout the week.
In addition, bakeries, tandoors, restaurants, and grocery stores will also remain exempt from the prescribed operating hours.
