Per tola price reaches Rs493,162 after a gain of Rs2,300

Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs493,162 after a gain of Rs2,300 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs422,806 after it increased by Rs1,971, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, gold price per tola reached Rs490,862 after a decline of Rs2,900 during the day. The international rate of gold was up by $23 to reach $4,708 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs92 to reach Rs8,049 per tola.
