After suffering eight consecutive defeats, Rawalpindiz secure first victory in PSL

Karachi: After suffering eight consecutive defeats in the Pakistan Super League 11, Rawalpindi secured their first victory of the tournament.

In a match played in Karachi, Rawalpindi defeated Islamabad United by six wickets.

On Thursday, in the 34th match of PSL 11, Rawalpindi won the toss and elected to field first, inviting Islamabad to bat.

Islamabad United were bowled out for 137 in their allotted 20 overs, with Devon Conway top-scoring with 40 runs.

In reply, Rawalpindi chased down the target of 138 runs in the 19th over, losing four wickets. Captain Mohammad Rizwan scored 45, while Kamran Ghulam made 42, and Daryl Mitchell remained unbeaten on 32.

With this result, Rawalpindi finally registered their first win of PSL 11 after eight successive losses.
