Karachi: A 3.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale jolted Karachi on Saturday afternoon, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said.
According to the PMD, the tremor was recorded at 2:13pm at a depth of 10 kilometres. The epicentre was located around 24 kilometres northwest of Malir.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties were received.
