Prime Minister stated that the impact of the reduction in petroleum prices will be passed on to the public as soon as possible.


Islamabad: After the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, a significant decline in the shortage of petroleum products has been recorded in the global market. In light of this, the federal government has also announced a reduction in diesel prices.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a decrease of Rs 32.12 per litre in the price of diesel.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s House, following the approval, the price of diesel has been reduced from Rs 385.54 to Rs 353.43.
The statement further said that the new diesel prices will come into effect from midnight tonight.
The Prime Minister stated that the impact of the reduction in petroleum prices will be passed on to the public as soon as possible.
