Rejects Afghan claims of civilian targets, calling them “factually incorrect

Web Desk: Politician and child rights activist Sarah Ahmad has said in recent days that there have been a lot of discussions about the strikes conducted by Pakistan inside Pakistan, but the reality is that Pakistan didn't conduct air strikes in Afghanistan without any reason.
There have been continuous attacks in Pakistan by the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and these facts are known to the Taliban authorities inside Afghanistan, she said in a video statement while presenting factual context on Operation Ghazab Lil Haq — an effort to highlight the realities of counterterrorism and national security.
Through repeated diplomatic efforts, Pakistan urged the Taliban government to take action and avoid using its soil against Pakistan against terrorism, Ms Ahmad said, adding that nothing was done, and no concrete measures were taken as a result; these groups continued taking action against security and civilians inside Pakistan. This left the state of Pakistan to take action to defend its people and the national security of Pakistan.
According to her, Pakistani strikes were not random but rather were very calculated and precise, and they were aimed at militant hideouts inside Afghanistan.
"Claims by Afghanistan that the sites where Pakistan attacked were a girls' school and a drug rehabilitation centre are not accurate as they were actually militant hideouts. Pakistan has concrete facts for it."
Ms Ahmad further said Pakistan's message is clear that it will never allow its people or its soil to remain under constant threat and it will also act against terrorism no matter where it comes from.
