PTI MPA arrested in connection with May 9 case

Lahore: PTI Member of the Punjab Assembly Kaleemullah Khan has been arrested in connection with the May 9 case.

According to Punjab Police, Kaleemullah Khan is a key suspect in the May 9 case and had already been declared a proclaimed offender by the Anti-Terrorism Court.

Police said a special team conducted an operation in Lahore to arrest the MPA, during which Kaleemullah Khan was taken into custody.

Authorities stated that after his arrest, he was transferred from Lahore to Gujranwala.

Officials added that formal permission from the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly had been obtained prior to the arrest.
