India posted 253 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. For India, Sanju Samson was the top scorer with an impressive 89 runs.
Among the other contributors, Shivam Dube scored 43, Ishan Kishan made 39, Suryakumar Yadav added 11, Hardik Pandya scored 27, and Tilak Varma contributed 21 runs.
For England, Will Jacks and Adil Rashid picked up two wickets each.
It is worth noting that in the first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup, New Zealand defeated South Africa to qualify for the final.
The T20 World Cup 2026 final will be played on Sunday in Ahmedabad.
