Per tola price reaches Rs540,562 after a decline of Rs700

Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan plummeted on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs540,562 after a decline of Rs700 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs463,444 after it fell by Rs600, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs541,262 after a gain of Rs1,300 during the day. The international rate of gold declined by $7 to reach $5,178 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs350 to reach Rs9,204 per tola.
