Police say after the attack, the terrorists set the police mobile on fire and fled the scene

Kohat: In a firing incident on a police mobile in the suburban area of Kohat on Tuesday, a DSP along with six police personnel and one civilian were martyred.
According to the District Police Officer (DPO), the police mobile was fired upon on Shakardara Road in the outskirts of Kohat, resulting in multiple personnel being injured.
The DPO later confirmed that in the terrorist attack on the police vehicle, DSP Wahid Mahmood along with three personnel were martyred, while four others were injured and shifted to the hospital.
Later, during treatment, two more personnel succumbed to their injuries, bringing the total number of security personnel martyred in the terrorist attack to six, including one DSP.
According to the Medical Superintendent (MS), a total of seven people were martyred in the terrorist attack, including one passerby. Three police personnel and one injured civilian are currently under treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital.
Police officials stated that after the attack, the terrorists set the police mobile on fire and fled the scene, while a heavy police contingent has been deployed to the area.
