Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated that the bodies of 145 terrorists are in our possession, and we are prepared to fight the war against terrorism for even a thousand years. He added that terrorists will not be able to take even an inch of our sacred land, and the state will never surrender.
The Chief Minister expressed grief over the loss of 17 security officers and 31 innocent civilians, including women and children, during recent terrorist attacks. According to reports, in Gwadar alone, five women and three children were among the victims. He assured full support and compensation for the families affected by these tragic incidents.
CM Bugti highlighted that timely intelligence allowed security forces to thwart multiple terrorist plots before they could inflict further harm. He praised the courage and dedication of the security personnel involved in the operations, noting that the province had successfully neutralized high-profile threats.
Addressing the nation, he firmly stated that the government remains committed to fighting terrorism for as long as necessary, even “for a thousand years,” emphasizing that no terrorist or extremist element would ever succeed in destabilizing Balochistan.
The Chief Minister also pointed fingers at terrorist facilitators and external actors attempting to create unrest in the region. He warned that Pakistan would not allow any such attempts to undermine its security or sovereignty.
Authorities have vowed to continue intelligence-led operations, maintain vigilance at all strategic locations, and strengthen community awareness programs to prevent radicalization.
