no evidence of editing was found in several videos, while in some videos the addition of logos and text was identified:report

The Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory has completed its detailed report for the verification of videos related to the May 9 incidents in Peshawar.
According to details, the report states that the presence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, along with Kamran Bangash, Taimur Jhagra, and Irfan Saleem, has been confirmed in the videos under analysis.
The report was prepared on the directions of the Anti-Terrorism Court, which had sought a forensic analysis report from the police in the Radio Pakistan attack case.
According to the police, 16 videos related to the May 9 incidents were sent to the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory via a USB, where the videos were examined frame by frame through technical and visual analysis.
The text of the report states that no evidence of editing was found in several videos, while in some videos the addition of logos and text was identified.
According to the forensic report, signs of clip splicing were found in two videos related to Sohail Afridi and Irfan Saleem. Additionally, experts conducted a comparative analysis of the individuals visible in the videos with their social media profile pictures for identification purposes.
The report states that Sohail Afridi’s profile picture was compared with the individual appearing in the May 9 videos, after which it was concluded that both are the same person.
Similarly, a match was found between the profile pictures of Irfan Saleem, Kamran Bangash, and Taimur Jhagra and the individuals seen in the videos.
The report clearly states that the entire analysis was limited to visual material only, and no audio or other evidence was included. The preparation of the forensic report was completed between December 19 and December 23, 2025.
Police officials stated that the report will be presented in court.
