PCB spokesperson said that option of third team is being considered and arrangements are underway


After the Afghanistan Cricket Board announced its withdrawal from the tri-nation series in Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board's response also came to light.
A statement issued by the Afghanistan Cricket Board said that Afghanistan will not participate in the tri-nation series to be held in Pakistan in November.
Following the Afghanistan Cricket Board's statement, the Pakistan Cricket Board has also issued a statement saying that the tri-nation T20 series will take place as per its schedule.
A PCB spokesperson said that the option of a third team is being considered and arrangements are underway; a decision in this regard will be made very soon.
It is pertinent to note that the tri-series T20 tournament in Pakistan is scheduled from November 17 to 29. The tri-series includes teams from Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
