Rescue teams are busy rescuing citizens trapped in water and delivering relief supplies


Heavy rains and floods have wreaked havoc in the North American country of Mexico, with 130 people killed in various accidents and several missing.
According to foreign media, 100,000 homes have been affected by heavy rains and floods, and infrastructure including roads and bridges has been destroyed.
Officials said that heavy rains have caused widespread destruction in the central states, disrupting the power system in 5 states.
The Mexican president says that such heavy rains were not expected, and officials fear further damage.

According to officials, more than 10,000 military personnel are participating in the distribution of aid with rescue machinery and vehicles, while temporary shelters have been set up for the displaced.
