Teaser of Pakistani telefilm ‘Begunah’ based on Pahalgam incident released
Telefilm is a response to Indian propaganda

The first teaser of the Pakistani telefilm ‘Begunah’, based on the Pahalgam incident, has been released.
A private entertainment channel is soon going to present the telefilm ‘Begunah’ focuses on the Pahalgam conflict, which will highlight the incident that took place in the tourist area of Pahalgam in occupied Kashmir in April this year.
In April 2025, there was a sudden firing in the tourist area of Pahalgam in occupied Kashmir, in which at least 26 people were killed, including some foreign tourists, but most of the dead were Indian tourists.
India blamed Pakistan for the attack and launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan as a justification.
Later, Pakistan also retaliated and shot down six Indian aircraft, including a French Rafale aircraft, and this operation was named Marka-e-Haq by Pakistan.
India announced the release of the film ‘Operation Sindoor’ based on this incident. However, Pakistan announced the release of the telefilm ‘Begunah’ based on the same incident even before the Indian propaganda.
The first teaser of the telefilm has been released, from which it can be inferred that the story will be that India will falsely accuse Pakistan of terrorism, and Pakistan’s retaliatory action will be highlighted.
According to the producers of ‘Begunah’, this telefilm is a response to Indian propaganda and is presented as a story of courage and sacrifice.
The story of the telefilm has been written by Ali Moin and Irfan Chandio, while it has been directed by Shamoon Abbasi. The film features Shamoon Abbasi, Hassan Niazi, Faraz Farooqui, Kamran Jilani, Saleem Sheikh, and other actors.
