(Web Desk): Israeli forces have carried out fresh attacks in various parts of Gaza, killing at least 45 innocent Palestinian civilians and injuring more than 150 others, according to media reports.
Qatar-based news outlet Al Jazeera reported that Israeli troops targeted refugee camps, aid seekers, and hospitals throughout the day. In central Gaza, at least 18 people searching for humanitarian aid were killed in multiple incidents — all reportedly shot.
According to local medical sources, Israeli ground operations in Gaza City led to the killing of 16 innocent civilians, while 4 more Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike in the Zaytoun area of the city.
In central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp, an Israeli airstrike killed 4 people and injured several others.
A source at Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza reported that an Israeli aircraft targeted the hospital’s western gate, injuring five people, including two staff members.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, since October 7, 2023, a total of 66,097 Palestinians have been killed and 168,536 injured.
The ministry also reported that the number of people who have died from hunger in Gaza has reached 453, including 150 children.
