Israeli and Arab leaders have accepted this plan; now we are only waiting for Hamas’s response, says Trump

(Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has given Hamas three to four days to respond to the Gaza ceasefire peace plan and warned that if the Palestinian group does not accept the plan, its “consequences will be very sad.”
According to foreign media reports, speaking to reporters as he departed the White House, the president said: “Israeli and Arab leaders have accepted this plan; now we are only waiting for Hamas’s response.”
He said plainly, “Hamas will either join it or not, and if not, the outcome will be sad.”
When asked whether there was room for further negotiation on the peace plan, Trump replied briefly, “Not much.”
The president reiterated that Israeli and Arab leaders have accepted the plan and that only Hamas’s response remains; otherwise, there will be a very sad outcome.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared his full support for the U.S. peace plan and warned that “if the plan fails, Israel will impose its own terms.”
At a joint news conference with President Trump at the White House, Netanyahu said, “I fully support President Trump’s plan to end the Gaza war.”
He said that under the agreement, the first phase would involve a limited withdrawal from Gaza, followed by the release of all Israeli captives within 72 hours.
According to Netanyahu, the next phase would be the creation of an international body to disarm Hamas. If this body succeeds, the war could end permanently.
Warning Hamas, he said, “If Hamas accepts the plan and then tries to back out, Israel will complete operations on its own. Hamas has limited options — if it wants peace, it should accept the plan; otherwise the war will not end.”
