‘This move aims to attract global scientific talent and promote international collaboration’

(Web Desk): China has announced the launch of a new "K Visa" for young professionals in science and technology.
According to international media reports, the K Visa will go into effect from October 1 and is designed to facilitate easier entry, stay, and multiple re-entries for eligible candidates.
Holders of the K Visa will be able to participate in education, culture, scientific and technological research, and business innovation activities—without the need for an invitation from a domestic employer or institution.
Authorities state that this move aims to attract global scientific talent and promote international collaboration.
This announcement comes shortly after US President imposed restrictions on immigration by setting a $100,000 annual fee for H-1B worker visas and signing a new executive order related to H-1B policy.
Experts believe that following the steep fee hike in the US, China’s K Visa could become an attractive alternative for global talent, especially for professionals from South Asia and other regions.
