Emirates, Etihad extend flight suspension from Pakistan, three other countries
Dubai: In line with United Arab Emirates (UAE) government directives, Emirates and Etihad airways has suspended travellers from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to Dubai until August 7, in view to curb the spread of coronavirus.

The airline in its latest travel advisory said that passengers who have connected through India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE.
The airline further added, “UAE nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who comply with updated COVID-19 protocols, are exempt and may be accepted for travel”.
Meanwhile The UAE’s national carrier, Etihad Airways also has announced that flights from India and Pakistan to the Gulf state will remain suspended until at least August 2.
The airline informed the passengers about the new directives on social media.
