The accused voluntarily surrendered himself to the police

(Web Desk): We often see children play what is commonly known as a "doorbell prank," where they ring someone's doorbell and run away. While this is usually considered harmless, sometimes it can lead to dangerous consequences.
According to a report by The Telegraph, an 11-year-old boy in Houston, Texas, lost his life while playing such a prank.
Around 11 p.m. on Saturday night, in the eastern part of the city on Racine Street, a group of children were playing the doorbell prank — ringing doorbells and then running away. During this time, a 42-year-old man came out of one of the houses and opened fire. The children ran to save their lives, but one boy was hit by a bullet.
The injured child was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries due to their severity.
Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and asked the suspect to come out of his house. The accused voluntarily surrendered himself to the police. During a search of his home, multiple weapons — including rifles and handguns — were recovered. According to the police, legal proceedings have begun to formally present the suspect in court.
