In Singhpura market, no vegetable is available for less than Rs2.50-3.00 per kg

Due to the destruction of crops over a large area, there is a possibility that vegetables and fruits will become expensive. In the Singhpura vegetable market, no vegetable is available for less than Rs2.50-3.00 per kg.
Punjab Agriculture Secretary Iftikhar Ali said that crops have been damaged on a large scale, but the extent of the damage will be estimated after the water recedes.
He stated that vegetables, wheat, cotton, and other crops have been affected by the flood, while there will be problems in the coming days, but the people will have to work with courage.
