Incident took place in the Lakki Tehsil of Kohat


(Web Desk): A tragic incident occurred near the Darmlak Police Checkpost in the Lakki Tehsil of Kohat, where firing took place on a mobile van, resulting in the martyrdom of one police officer and the injury of two others.
According to details provided by Rescue 1122, the unfortunate incident took place in the Lakki Tehsil of Kohat, where the mobile van at the Darmlak Police Checkpost was targeted. Unknown assailants fired on the police vehicle, leading to the martyrdom of one police officer on the spot, while two others were injured.
Upon receiving the emergency call, the Rescue 1122 Kohat control room dispatched medical teams that responded promptly. The rescue teams provided initial medical aid to all the police officers and then transferred them to the Type D Hospital in Lakki. From there, two injured officers were further transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital Kohat.
The operation is being supervised by Senior District Emergency Officer Kohat, Muhammad Arif Khattak, and Emergency Officer Hazrat Nawab Khan.
Rescue 1122 Kohat’s spokesperson stated that in the firing incident, PSO Ashfaq was martyred, while Constables Yasir and Shafqat Mehmood were injured.
