DG ISPR stated that the Army Chief did not make any political remarks during the Brussels event, nor did he speak of any apology

Rawalpindi: ISPR DG Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has clarified that the Army Chief made no mention of an apology during his visit to Brussels. He emphasized that those involved in the events of May 9—as well as their facilitators and planners—must be held accountable under the law.
Speaking to the media after addressing a ceremony in the federal capital, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif, stated that the Army Chief did not make any political remarks during the Brussels event, nor did he speak of any apology.
He added that hundreds of people attended the event in Brussels, where participants took photos with the Field Marshal.
He clarified that the Field Marshal made no comments about PTI, and reiterated that May 9 is not just a matter for the military—it is a national issue. He stressed the firm stance that those responsible for May 9, including their enablers and masterminds, must be brought to justice in accordance with the law.
It is worth noting that earlier today, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, granted bail to PTI founder Imran Khan in eight cases related to the May 9 incidents.
