Areej Fatima beats rare cancer, urges fans to prioritise health
Former actress, Areej triumphs over rare cancer, shares powerful message of caution and hope

(Web Desk): Areej Fatima, a former Pakistani television actress now living in the U.S., recently revealed that she and her family endured a very difficult time over the past four months.
She was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called choriocarcinoma, a disease that begins in tissue inside the uterus and often follows abnormal pregnancy. This type of cancer can quickly spread to other parts of the body, making it extremely dangerous.
She underwent major surgery and did not know if she would survive. During that critical time, two thoughts dominated her mind: how she would stand before her Creator, and what would happen to her family if she didn’t make it.
Now fully recovered, Areej shared her journey through a heartfelt social media post. Her message had two powerful themes: Don’t judge people by how they look.
Prioritize your health never ignore symptoms, and don’t rely on home remedies if something serious is going on.
She emphasized the need for regular medical check-ups and warned against delaying professional treatment. Following her recovery, Areej will need follow-up tests for years to ensure the cancer doesn't return.
Despite this, she is profoundly grateful this experience has made her more realistic, reminded her of life’s fragility, and inspired her to live more purposefully.
In closing, she asked her fans and followers to keep her in their prayers as she moves forward with hope and determination.
