Police has arrested the suspect allegedly involved in a high-profile Twitter hack in July 2020 from Spain.

According to the U.S. Justice Department, a 22-year old British citizen identified as Joseph O’Connor was arrested in Spain on conspiracy and computer intrusion charges.
The suspect was involved in hacking more than 130 verified accounts of high-profile personalities around the world including Elon Musk, Barack Obama and current President of US Joe Biden.
Twitter’s immediately responded and prevented many verified accounts from tweeting for several hours.
The arrested British citizen is also suspected of taking control of TikTok and Snapchat accounts and of cyberstalking.
