India Says China and Turkey supported Pakistan during May skirmishes

(Web Desk): Indian Deputy Army Chief, Lieutenant General Rahul R. Singh, stated during a defense partnership seminar in New Delhi that during “Operation Sandur” in May, Pakistan received real-time operational inputs regarding Indian military movements from China.

According to him, China assisted Pakistan in accessing live data on India’s operational plans and troop movements. He further claimed that Turkey provided Pakistan with drones and trained personnel to support its operations.

General Singh also pointed out that over the past five years, 81% of Pakistan’s military equipment has come from China, referring to Pakistan as “a tool of Beijing.”

He made these remarks during DGMO-level talks, where India requested Pakistan to withdraw certain troop deployments, claiming they were “primed” for action.

Operation Sandur took place from May 7 to May 10 and involved four days of intense skirmishes, including the use of missiles, drones, and artillery.

These statements reflect a new layer of tension between India and China and highlight evolving strategic dynamics in South Asia. Both Pakistan and China have denied the allegations, and further clarification is needed regarding Turkey’s role.

The situation is expected to influence regional power balances, spark discussions on defense strategies and air defense readiness, and raise questions about international credibility. The remarks are likely to increase diplomatic tensions and shift focus toward the response strategies of the involved nations.
