Section 144 has been imposed near rivers, streams, and canals


(Web Desk): Due to the risk of urban flooding in Rawalpindi, Rescue 1122 is making announcements at various points across the city.
According to the report, these announcements are being made from 10 siren-equipped points to raise public awareness and warn citizens about the potential flood situation.
The announcement states that, according to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected in the coming days. Section 144 has been imposed near rivers, streams, and canals. Bathing, swimming, or gathering in or near rivers, canals, and streams is strictly prohibited.
Parents are especially urged to keep children away from water bodies. In case of any emergency, call 1122 immediately.
