Riyadh: The news of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving the Saudi club has died down as the football world superstar has extended his contract with the Saudi football club Al-Nasr for 2 years.
According to a report by the international news agency Reuters, 40-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year contract extension with Al-Nasr.
A statement issued by the Saudi Premier League on Thursday (June 26) stated that under the contract, the Portuguese forward will remain associated with the Al-Nasr club until the age of 42.

Ronaldo, who is 40, is estimated to have earned around $275 million. Cristiano Ronaldo won his second UEFA Nations League title this month, leading Portugal to a 1,000-goal victory over neighbours Spain in the final.
Cristiano Ronaldo is also eyeing the 1,000-goal milestone in his career, having scored 794 for various clubs and 138 for the Portuguese national team, taking his total goals tally to 932.
