Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Mousavi appointed new commander of IRGC Aerospace Force

(Web Desk): Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Commander of Iran’s Armed Forces, has appointed Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Mousavi as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force.

According to Mehr News Agency, this appointment comes in the wake of the martyrdom of Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, who was killed during an act of aggression by the Zionist regime on Friday.

Ayatollah Khamenei issued the official decree appointing Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Mousavi to the post on Saturday.

Martyr Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh was one of Iran’s top military generals and was martyred in a terrorist attack carried out by the Israeli regime just a day earlier.

Sentence Reductions and Pardons for 1,705 Prisoners

In celebration of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadir, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, has approved pardons or reductions in sentences for 1,705 prisoners.

On the occasion of these blessed Islamic holidays, Ayatollah Khamenei approved a proposal from the head of the judiciary to grant clemency or reduce the sentences of eligible convicts.

These prisoners had been convicted in various courts across Iran.
