Pakistan's Olympic gold medalist javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem, has once again won the gold medal, making history in the final of the Asian Athletics Championship.
Arshad Nadeem threw 75.64 meters in the first round, 76.80 meters in the second round, and 85.57 meters in the third round. Arshad Nadeem threw 83.99 meters in his fourth attempt.
At the end of the fourth round, Arshad Nadeem was at the top of the chart while Sri Lanka's Haranga was in second place, China's Hu Hu Haran was in third place, and India's Yashwar Singh was in fourth place with a throw of 82.23 meters. India's Sachin Yadav was in sixth place.
Pakistan's Yasir Sultan threw 70.53 meters in the first round, 75.39 meters in the second round, and 75.50 meters in the third round.
Arshad Nadeem rose to first position on the javelin throw finals chart after his third throw, after which he threw his final throw 86.40 meters long and finally won the gold medal.
The nation celebrated the victory of the national hero Arshad. People residing in his neighbourhood in Mian Channu distributed sweets and danced to the beat of drums.
