Sarah Khan refuses being feminist
‘Because I don't want to go and pay the bill, nor can I stand in queues’


Lahore: Pakistani actress Sarah Khan has denied being a feminist.
A clip of actress Sarah Khan's interview with Independent Urdu is rapidly going viral on social media.
Sarah Khan said, “My statement may be taken as unusual, but the fact is that I am not a feminist. I believe that men should be allowed to remain in their place so that women can live in peace”.
The actress explained her statement with a laugh, saying, ‘Because I don't want to go and pay the bill, nor can I stand in queues’.
Sarah Khan further said: ‘Just as in the past, women used to feel comfortable sitting at home, I am also one of those women’.
It is pertinent to note that singer Falak Shabbir and Sarah Khan got married on July 16, 2020 in Lahore, and on October 8, 2021, their daughter Alyana was born to them.
