Neither India is Israel, nor Pakistan is Palestine: Pak Army Spokesperson

Pakistan Army Spokesperson and Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry says that neither India Israel is, nor is Pakistan Palestine. If India provokes or attacks us, our response will be swift and brutal.

DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, while giving an interview to the Turkish News Agency, said that Pakistan is currently the country most affected by terrorism in the world. More than 3,700 terrorist incidents have taken place since January 2024. India is sponsoring and encouraging all this terrorism. In 17 months, 3,896 people were martyred in terrorist incidents. Out of which, 2,582 were civilians and security personnel.

The Pakistan Army Spokesperson stated that whatever is happening in occupied Kashmir or India, is an internal Indian problem. Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute.

He added that we are a peace-loving nation, but if India provokes or attacks us, our response will be swift and brutal. The fact is that India is not America, and Pakistan is not Afghanistan, India is not Israel, and Pakistan is not Palestine. Pakistan will not bow down to Indian domination.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry further said that the sooner India understands this, the better for regional and global peace. India failed to provide any evidence in the Pahalgam incident. The Indian government is using these incidents as an excuse for terrorism.

He also stated that the BLA, which attacked the Jafar Express, had openly requested help from India. In New Delhi, some leaders, politicians, and retired generals made statements in support of the BLA.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that in the recent tension, five Indian warplanes were shot down, out of which three were Rafales. The world knows that Pakistan shot down Indian planes, but New Delhi is not ready to accept it.
