Modi government unable to tolerate a Muslim officer fulfilling her duties

(Web Desk): The Modi government appears to have become blinded by anti-Muslim sentiment, as senior BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh minister Vijay Shah has labeled Colonel Sofia Qureshi, a Muslim officer in the Indian Army, as a "sister of terrorists."
Colonel Sofia Qureshi had represented the Indian Army during press briefings related to Operation Sandur, where she informed the media about the losses India suffered at the hands of the Pakistan Army.
Vijay Shah was reportedly unable to tolerate a Muslim officer fulfilling her duties and targeted Colonel Sofia with harsh criticism, calling her a “sister of terrorists.”
Vijay Shah said, “They stripped and killed our Hindus, and Modi Ji sent their sister to give them a taste of their own medicine.”
The Congress Party has condemned the remarks against Colonel Sofia, calling the criticism baseless and demanding Vijay Shah’s resignation.
Congress workers also protested outside Vijay Shah’s residence and blackened the nameplate bearing his name.
