Indian drones targeted Nankana Sahib, attack foiled: DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has stated that India attempted to target a Sikh place of worship in Nankana Sahib. He revealed that India launched an attack using six drones, which was successfully foiled.

In a press briefing to international media, the Pakistan Army spokesperson said that at the time of India’s attack on Pakistan, 57 passenger aircraft were in the airspace, putting the lives of airline passengers at risk. He added that a 2-year-old girl was targeted in the Indian attacks, while Indian media is celebrating the incident. “In our retaliatory action, we are only targeting Indian military posts—specifically those from where fire is directed at Pakistan,” he clarified.

The DG ISPR also stated that attacks on Muslims and other minorities are taking place in India, and Muslims are being openly threatened with murder.

He said that India is supporting the Khawarij insurgents and other terrorists in Pakistan. “India has shut down neutral social media accounts. Every few years, India manufactures a false narrative by creating a fictional story. Fake encounters in occupied Kashmir have become a routine practice of the Indian occupying forces,” he added.

He further said that India is involved in terrorism across various countries including the US, Canada, and Pakistan. “There is concrete evidence that India sponsors terrorism in Pakistan. Terrorists are given tasks from India to carry out attacks in Pakistan. Indian military personnel assign these missions and there is evidence of communication between Indian soldiers and these terrorists,” he concluded.
