PAA said that reports regarding complete closure of Lahore airspace are baseless

Lahore: Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has denied the reports regarding the complete closure of Lahore airspace, and restored 15 routes for regular operations.
In the context of the current war situation between Pakistan and India, the PAA has issued a statement saying that the reports regarding the complete closure of Lahore airspace are baseless, Lahore airspace is safe and available for flights.
However, certain parts of Lahore airspace have been closed for flights once again. These parts will remain closed until 3:00pm on Saturday, May 10.
In addition, the Pakistan Airports Authority has issued a NOTAM, issuing new instructions for Gilgit and Skardu airports.
According to the NOTAM, coordination with air traffic control will be required before flights for Gilgit and Skardu airports. Flights to Skardu and Gilgit airports without clearance will be banned.
Earlier on Thursday, flight operations at Lahore, Karachi, Sialkot, and Islamabad International Airports were temporarily suspended due to Pakistan-India tensions.
It should be noted that after India attacked Pakistan on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Pakistan Army's immediate response, India sent drones violating Pakistani borders, which were shot down by security forces.
