‘New date for the postponed exams will be announced soon’

(Web desk): As tensions between Pakistan and India escalated, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore announced on Wednesday that today's scheduled exams had been postponed.
According to a BISE spokesperson, the Inter Part II exams for Islamiyat (Elective) and Principles of Accounting (Theory), along with the Matric Computer Science practical exam, were planned for today. However, due to the developing situation, the exams could not be held.
The spokesperson added that a new date for the postponed exams will be announced soon.
The decision comes after a military flare-up along the Line of Control (LoC), where India carried out strikes on multiple locations inside Pakistan. India claims the attacks were in response to the recent killing of over two dozen tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), blaming Pakistan—a charge Islamabad strongly denies.
In retaliation, Pakistan’s armed forces shot down five Indian Air Force jets, a drone, and destroyed an Indian brigade headquarters.
