Weather in the city will stay hot and humid over the next 24 hours

(Web Desk): Karachi may see some rain in its suburbs this evening, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Tuesday, offering slight relief from the ongoing summer heat.
According to the PMD, the weather in the city will stay hot and humid over the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature is expected to stay between 35°C and 37°C, while the minimum could drop to around 27.5°C.
The humidity level in the air is currently 49%, and dry winds are blowing from the northeast at a speed of 6 km/h.
Earlier, the PMD had predicted strong winds and possible thunderstorms for Karachi, which were expected to cool down the hot and sticky weather. However, on Monday, the Met Office said that rain was unlikely due to dry winds in the area.
Karachi has been experiencing intense heat, especially during peak hours from 11am to 4pm. Authorities have urged people to stay indoors during this time to avoid heat-related illnesses.
The chance of evening showers has brought some hope to residents looking for relief from the high temperatures.
The PMD continues to monitor the weather closely and will update forecasts as needed.
