(Web Desk): Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan’s is reportedly being paid five times more than his co-star actress Vaani Kapoor in the upcoming film ‘Abhiar Gulal’.
The romantic tragedy ‘Abhiar Gulal’, starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, is set to release on May 9. The film’s teaser and a romantic song have already been released.
According to Indian media, citing multiple reports, Vaani Kapoor is reportedly being paid around INR 15 million (1.5 crore) for the film. The report adds that while Fawad Khan typically charges PKR 1.5 to 2 million per episode for Pakistani dramas, he has significantly increased his fee for Bollywood projects, leveraging his rising popularity.
For ‘Abhiar Gulal’, it is reported that Fawad Khan’s fee could range between INR 50 to 100 million (5 to 10 crore), making his paycheck at least five times higher than Vaani Kapoor’s.
Previously, Fawad charged lower amounts for Bollywood films, but according to the report, he has now tripled his fee for this role compared to earlier projects.
Neither Fawad Khan, Vaani Kapoor, nor the film's production team have made any official statements regarding their remuneration.
