FIA has initiated investigations into the arrested individuals

(Web Desk): Three agents, including a high-priority fugitive listed in the Red Book, have been arrested for their involvement in smuggling citizens to Europe via sea routes.
According to a spokesperson for the FIA Gujranwala, the arrests were made by the FIA Gujranwala Zone from various locations in Gujranwala and Gujrat. The arrested suspects have been identified as Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Tanveer, and Ghulam Ghous.
Muhammad Imran, one of the arrested suspects, had collected over Rs7.2 million from citizens to illegally transport them to Spain by sea. He attempted to smuggle them from Mauritania to Spain, but the citizens refused to travel and returned to Pakistan.
Muhammad Tanveer, another suspect, has been a wanted fugitive since 2019. He is listed in the Red Book as a notorious human smuggler. He has been involved in multiple cases of attempting to send citizens to Europe via Turkey.
The third suspect, Ghulam Ghous, took more than Rs1.7 million from a citizen to smuggle him illegally to Greece. However, the operation failed, and the suspects went into hiding.
The FIA has initiated investigations into the arrested individuals.
