Lahore: The prices of gold in Pakistan has surged by going up y Rs800 per tola on Monday, which is a reverse in the five-day continuous decline.
According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the per tola gold price has swelled to stand at Rs240,800 which is in line with a jump in the international rate.
While, the 10 grams gold also gained Rs686 and settled at Rs206,447.
The international price of gold increased and was set at $2,343 per ounce adding a premium of $20 and increase by $10.
On the other hand, the rate of silver remained stable at Rs2,800 per tola.
It is pertinent to note that on last business day i.e. Saturday, per tola gold price decline by Rs200 in Pakistan.
Earlier in last month, the gold hit an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
