The price of 24-karat gold plunges by Rs1,600 to Rs238,000 per tola

Karachi: Gold prices plunged by Rs1,600 to Rs238,000 per tola in the country's bullion markets on Saturday, maintaining the downward trend in the last three days.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and jewellers Association, the price of 10 grammes of gold dropped by Rs1,257 to settle at Rs204,047 per tola.
However, the price of the yellow metal jumped by $4 to $2,301 per ounce in the international market.
On Friday, the gold prices also plunged by Rs14,00 to settle at Rs239,600. It's worth mentioning that the gold price has decreased Rs3,900 in the last three days.
