Court adjourns hearing Fawad's plea in May 9 cases till May 9
Later then the Court approved the plea of official lawyer
Lahore: The Lahore high court (LHC) has postponed the hearing of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry while giving his lawyer time for preparation the case till May 9.
According to the details, chief justice Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan heard the plea of Fawad Chaudhry regarding the attendance through video link in 36 cases.
The applicant’s lawyer stated that the permission should be given to appear in the courts through video link.
Chief justice questioned that in how many districts the cases are registered. On which the official lawyer replied that the cases are registered in four divisions.
He remarked that a person has 36 cases against him so how can he appeared in courts at the same time. On which Fawad said that the total cases are 47 against him.
Chief justice asked Fawad Chaudhry to sit peacefully and stop teasing him.
The official lawyer said that there are more of the cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan. So, some time should be given to present the case law.
Later then the Court approved the plea of official lawyer.
