Lahore: Supreme court (SC) has canceled the filed appeal to discard the allotment of 27 canals land in Bahawalpur.
According to the details, chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa heard the plea of a citizen named Iqbal Gujar in SC Lahore.
It is stated in the plea that Bahawalpur’s land allotted to a private woman Mijazi Begum. The private woman had not bought the land because it is the government’s land so the Punjab government cannot allot it further.
The applicant pleaded that Punjab government allotted the official land to a private person illegally that is why it should be canceled.
During the hearing, the CJP remarked that do not give a speech here lawyer and relate it to the legal point of view. This matter has already come to SC before.
