Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has expressed indignation over the publication of pictures of distribution of Eid packages to the beneficiaries.
Ali Amin Gandapur sought an explanation from the relevant government officials and public representatives about the matter.
He said: “This act is a violation of government and party policy. By doing this, the self-esteem of the beneficiaries who received the package has been hurt”.
The Chief Minister stated that the provincial government gave Ramadan package to 850,000 deserving families in a transparent manner. In view of the self-esteem of the deserving families, the Ramadan package was distributed through accounts.
He added that Eid package was also given to more than 17 thousand families including police martyrs.
