Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed fool-proof security arrangements on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that fool-proof security arrangements should be ensured on Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr, best security arrangements should be made for Eid gatherings, especially mosques and Imam Bargahs.
Maryam Nawaz stated that police and law enforcement agencies should be vigilant on Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr, additional police personnel should be deployed in markets and shopping centers. Senior police officials to review the security arrangements on Chand Raat and Eid should be present in the field.
She further said that the police will have to work hard and diligently for public peace, the security plan should be implemented in any case.
