Tim Southee has been given rest for Pakistan’s tour under the work load management.


Wellington: New Zealand has announced the squad for T20 series against Pakistan.
According to the details, New Zealand will be playing five T20 international matches without the top cricketers such as Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson. Michael Bracewell has been appointed as captain of New Zealand for the first time for series.
In the Kiwi squad for Pakistan’s visit apart from captain Michael Bracewell, Finn Allen, Mark Champion, Josh Clarkson, Jacob Duffy, Dean Foxcroft, Ben Lister, Kol Mic Konchi and others are included.
The first match between both teams will be on April 18. Kiwi team will be coming to Pakistan on April 12. New Zealand’s nine players are not available due to Indian Premiere League (IPL) and county.
It should be noted that Tim Southee has been given rest for Pakistan’s tour under the work load management.
