Turbat: Security forces kill four terrorists, thwarting attack on Pak Navy Air Base
Airbase PNS Siddique Turbat was attacked on the intervening night of March 25 and 26.
Rawalpindi: Security forces foiled an attempt of terrorist attack on Pakistan Navy's Air Base PNS Siddique.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Department of Pakistan Army, the security forces attempted to attack the Pakistan Navy Air Base PNS Siddique in the guise of the terrorists, in which the forces responded in a timely and effective manner while ensuring the safety of the assets and failed the attack.
Airbase PNS Siddique Turbat was attacked on the intervening night of March 25 and 26. The surrounding security forces were immediately mobilized to assist the naval forces. A clearance operation was conducted and four terrorists were killed in the joint clearance operation, stated ISPR.
The spokesperson of ISPR told that a soldier of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, 24-year-old Nauman Farid, was martyred in the fierce exchange of fire who belongs to Muzaffargarh.
According to ISPR, a clearance operation is underway to eliminate any more terrorists in the area.
ISPR informed that the armed forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country at any cost.
