The Gladiators had set a 119-run target for the Kings which they successfully chased for three wickets at Rawalpindi Stadium.


Rawalpindi: Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 7 wickets at Rawalpindi stadium on Wednesday.
It was 22nd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 which kicked off at 2:00 pm.
No Quetta Gladiators player managed to perform well, and the entire team collapsed at 118 runs. Karachi Kings achieved the target of 119 runs in the 16th over with the loss of 3 wickets.
Captain Shaan Masood could only score 7 runs before being dismissed while James Vince played for 27 runs and Tom Banton remained unbeaten at 49 runs. Shoaib Malik scored 27 runs and Irfan Khan Niazi scored 4 runs but remained not out.
From Quetta Gladiators, Saud Shakeel played an innings of 33 runs, Jason Roy 15, Khurram Nawaz 17, Captain Riley Rossouw 10 and Aqeel Hussain managed 14 runs while 6 players couldn't even enter the double figures.
Former Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 7, Sherfane Rutherford 9, Mohammad Amir 2, Mohammad Hasnain 5, and Usman Tariq managed only one run before being dismissed, while Abrar Ahmed scored just one run and remained not out.
From Karachi Kings' side, Hasan Ali showcased destructive bowling, giving away 15 runs in 4 overs and securing 4 wickets of Quetta Gladiators' players. Blessing Muzarabani, Zahid Mahmood took 2 wickets each, and Mir Hamza took one wicket.
