Karachi: Following an unfortunate incident, a woman along with her two children were killed while six others sustained serious injuries in a gas cylinder explosion near Mosamiyat in Karachi on Wednesday.

As per police officials, the explosion occurred in a shop and there were residential apartments above it.
The explosion was so powerful that it destroyed three shops completely and a vehicle that was parked outside, leaving three causalities behind.
The deceased are identified as Sadia (mother), Fatima and Abdullah.
Rescue teams and Police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
Moreover, the bomb disposal squad has been summoned too and further investigations into the incident is underway.
